Cultivating Kindness and Compassion in the New Year

As we enter a new year and a new beginning, I am reminded of practicing mindfulness and am reflecting on how it naturally cultivates more kindness, compassion and generosity. We all have seeds of anger, mistrust, hatred and violence within us. Everyone has seeds of kindness, compassion, hope, goodness and generosity within us too. We all have the capacity to be more mindful and choose our words and actions more carefully.

What would happen if we were to intentionally practice kindness and compassion in our lives?  How might that ripple out to others and affect the world in a positive way?

All humans everywhere want the same thing – to be loved, to feel safe and cared for, to have enough food and shelter, to be healthy, to be happy and to be at peace.

To inspire your heartfelt intention to share kindness and compassion with the world I would like to share this short moving video with you.
